Weekly Deals!

Hi! Here are this week's deals. Starting immediately and ending Monday at midnight, these products are an amazing opportunity.

*****If you have a Big Shot and you don't have the magnetic platform, now is the time to get this wonderful tool. It is used with any Framelits and Thinlits dies. After you have stamped an image and want to cut it out, the magnetic platform will hold your dies in the exact place you put it for a perfect cut around your image! Or I use it often to get the most out of a sheet of card stock by being able to place the die wherever I want on the paper each time I make a cut out. Sure beats what we had to do before this came out...use post it notes to hold the dies in place, which didn't always work well!*****

Contact me to purchase any of these items!

Here is the last card I have made so far with the Sale-a-Bration set of Project Life cards. So easy and fun to make multiples of each card.

I will be making a birthday card for our grandson, Blake, whose birthday is April 5th, Easter Sunday this year. He doesn't look at my blog so I will post it by Thursday! I also have the Easter baskets made but not decorated or filled yet so I will have photos of those soon too.

Check back soon,
Chris

More Cards from Project Life cards

Hi!

Here is another card that I made using the same package of Project Life cards as my previous post. Plus a few other supplies I have on hand.

Right now I am using my e-cutter to cut small Easter baskets for my grandkids. I have made baskets for them since they were born. I used to add colouring books, socks, etc but now they just want chocolate! Thus the smaller size baskets! I will take photos to show you once they are made!

I have one more of these cards to show you so come back tomorrow,
Chris

Cards made from Project Life Scrapbooking cards!

Hi! Just thought I would share this card that I made from the Sale-a-Bration set of Project Life scrapbooking cards. I have a few more to show you over the next few days! I loved this card when I saw it made by a U.S. demo, Brian King. Yes, he's a guy...there are a number of male demos in SU and they are all super talented!

These Project Life cards are for scrapbooking but since I don't scrapbook, I use them for cards! The cards make for speedy card making. Especially when they are free with a $60 order!

Sale-a-Bration ends this week on the 31st. Let me know if you want to order anything and get your free item!

Be back soon,
Chris

Hi!

Going to start working on some birthday cards later today. Our grandson turns 11 on Easter Sunday, April 5...and my dear friend, Susan, has her birthday the same day. I won't share her age!!!

Class Schedule Changes

Hi!

Please note the changes in dates for upcoming classes. I have spread them out more for my spring classes.

I am doing a new alternative treatment for my allergies and asthma that one of my Doctors really wanted me to try. I have great hopes that this treatment will make a difference in the long term for me! Right now however, I am really tired so need more time to rest and to go for the treatments.

As I have spaced out the classes, I hope not to have to make many changes in the next few months.

I will continue to post to my blog so I hope you will keep checking in, especially on Tuesday's for the Stampin' Up! Weekly sales. Also April should bring the list of retiring (discontinuing) products from the big, Annual SU catalogue in preparation for the new catalogue starting at the beginning of June. I will keep you posted!

Thanks for understanding,
Chris

Cards for Class Next Week

Hi! I have two of the samples of cards for next week's classes. The birthday card has front and inside but the Friend card just has the front finished.

I will get the Sympathy card posted by Monday, I hope! We are going out of town this weekend so I don't have time before then to make up the sample!

The inside of this last card will either be left blank or we can add a verse. I will try to have an option or two!

Be back next week,
Chris

Cute Card I Made Just for Fun!

I saw this cute card on Pinterest. Yes, I spend lots of time on Pinterest! It is the coolest place ever for so many ideas!

So I had to make my own version of this sweet card. I will be saving it for someone special at some point. Don't know anyone who is pregnant right now!

On to the card...

And the inside...

None of the stamps or the safety pins are from Stampin' Up! but everything else is.

Stampin' Up! Product Update...

Stampin'Up announced yesterday that the entire line of Blendabilities (alcohol markers) have been discontinued due to a manufacturing problem. A number of the markers were dry when received by Stampin' Up! and our customers. The manufacturer can't guarantee a consistent product to meet SU high standards so SU has decided to not carry this line any more. Our regular water based markers in the colour families and In Colours will always be available! As well as our Blender pens and Aquapainters.

I liked the Blendabilities but I have received dry markers myself and have been disappointed with that quality issue. So we move on with our creations and forget about these markers!!!

I am continuing to prepare for the upcoming Garage Sale but will have new projects to show you soon!

Thanks for understanding this product issue,
Chris

Button Candy!!!!!

I am preparing my old crafting items for a Garage Sale on March 28 and 29. This sale will be held during regular store hours out at ScrappinGreatDeals in Komoka area. (If you want directions, please contact me and I will get those to you.)

This is the third time I have participated in this sale. I won't be there though as the store's staff handles all the sales. It is a fun sale as there are up to 125 Bankers Boxes of goodies. Also you can pay with cash, debit card, or a credit card, and no taxes are added to re-sale items.

Okay so I have 3(!!!) Bankers boxes in this sale. One is filled with retired paper...I have so much of that! And one will contain ribbons and buttons! I took some photos of how I bundled up the buttons to make them so adorable. (Took me all day Saturday!) My 3rd box will be filled with stamps and grab bags of ribbon, plus odds and ends including a few cutting dies.

Do you think they look like Button Candy?

I love how they look and hope that they attract people to purchase them!

Chris

More Classes Posted Above!

I have worked on my class schedule up to the end of June 2015. If the weather for July is good this year, I will be taking a break for the whole month. (If it is really hot and humid, I will be staying inside so would be happy to continue classes!)

Starting in May, I will be offering at least one Christmas card per month. As we now make fewer cards per class, it is never too early to start! lol! Plus I love making Christmas cards!

Depending on what you all want to do, we may want to make a project or 2 in a class that could be given as a gift. I have lots of ideas for gifts of card sets, hostess trinkets for all the Christmas occasions over the holidays, gift tags, and the unknown that we can look forward to in the new Annual Catalogue (June 1st) and the Holiday catalogue (August 1st). Stampin Up has lots of kits available right now and we expect they will continue to offer new ideas with each new catalogue. I get so excited thinking about getting new catalogues!

I hope more of you can come out to classes in coming months as the evenings stay light later and the weather warms up!

I will be back soon with new projects or other things I am working on!
Chris

Second Post Today...3rd Card

Hi! I'm just moving along here today and I have the last card for next week ready to show you.

Not sure why the inside photo is smaller but at least it is posted!

The front design is copied from a card designed by Megan Daves from Texas. I love her cards! The inside is my own plan.

Hope you like all the cards and will join us next Thursday, the 12th.

See you soon,
Chris

Cards for Next Week's Class!

So sorry that I am a day late posting these...I was just really tired yesterday. Feeling a lot more energetic today!

Here is the first card that I think would work as a male birthday card, but one could give it to anyone.

Just because you might not notice that some of the bricks are popped up, and have a moss like substance on them, I took a side view...

The second card is really cute, I think!

Here is the inside, but it could be left blank, no verse, if you prefer!

Okay that's all for right now. I will be back either later today or sometime tomorrow with the 3rd card for next week.

Thanks for stopping by!
Chris

Just wanted to Share this!

I will be back by Wednesday with a card or two for next week's classes. In the meantime, I wanted to share this funny that I found on Pinterest. I actually laugh out loud every time I see this! If you are a KitKat lover as I am, you might get a laugh, too!

Hope this bit of humour brightens your Monday!

Be back soon,
Chris
