These cards are for classes on Oct. 1 @ 6:30 pm and Oct. 2 @ 1:00 pm. Cost is still just $15! I have alternative verses/ greetings for the Sympathy and Thinking of You cards. Seems like I was on an angle kick when I designed these cards! Lol

CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR CLASSES NEXT WEEK!

I will have the insides to show you at the class! The black card at the top is a fancy fold card where the front is cut to make the square piece on the front. It's pretty cool!

Cottage Greetings Card Kit

Hi! I love this kit that is on page 154 of the big Annual catalogue. I have the stamps and ink pads needed to make this kit if anyone wants to make one with me!

One of the cards shown in the catalogue says "Congrats" on the front but I didn't have a need for any of those so I made more birthday cards. You can make the cards whatever you wish! The coolest thing about this kit as the brownish piece on the fronts of the cards is actually real wood! An amazing look!

The kit costs $19.75 but with my sale it is only $18.62. I would do a class, large or small, for $20 per person which includes the kit and one roll of double sided tape. That gives you 15 cards for $20 or about $1.33 per card! Where can you find a handmade card for that!

All of the cards have a shiny silver design printed on the card bases. That's something I can't do!

Cards for Christmas Classes August 20 & 21 - Part 2

Couple of Cards

Here are a couple of cards I've been working for RMH. These were designs from my e-cutter program which I was able to print and cut or just cut. I love this machine and software!

FALL CLASS SCHEDULE!

Hope everyone's summer is going well. I have enjoyed my break but have continued to craft. I will have some cute kid's cards to share in a couple of days. (They will be some of my donations to Ronald McDonald House.)

At the top of this post is the class schedule that I have planned for this autumn. I do not hold classes in December as we are all too busy! After this group of classes, I will start up again in mid to late January, depending on how good or bad the weather is!

A Couple Cards and a Big Oops!

First I want to share a big oops that happened a week ago. I foolishly took my iPad out of its case to take some photos, it slipped onto the floor. This is what happens when one does that!

So I now have a new iPad Air. Not all bad as this one is a lot thinner and lighter. I am never taking it out of its case!!!

Here are 2 cards that I stamped the backgrounds for. I used the stamps from my May Paper Pumpkin kit. (Ask me how to get your monthly surprise, craft filled box!)

Stamping a background is not for a class as it takes a long time but it is a fun thing to try on your own!

I hope to be back soon with more to share. (Our grandkids are coming this coming Saturday for almost a week so I doubt you will hear from me during that time.)

Birthday Card

Hi there!

I'm sitting here doing nothing much because our A/C quit yesterday. I have had a struggle with my breathing but am doing okay. Roy Inch and Sons have 3 installers here today replacing our furnace and A/C unit. We should have cool air sometime this afternoon. Really good thing as the weekend is going to be brutally hot and humid!

Want to share a photo of my the birthday card I made for my sister's birthday. Our whole family had a wonderful celebration this past Sunday for her 60th birthday. She loved the card!

This is the most beautiful designer paper I have ever seen! All I did was to colour the roses with a Blushing Bride marker. All the shading is in the paper! (The silver button was in a kit from the Spring catalogue and unfortunately is no longer available.)

My July Vacation

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to remind you all that I won't be holding any classes in July as I am taking the month off. I will be planning the dates for classes starting in August in the next couple of weeks, and will post them to the top of my blog.

I don't have any plans to go far in July (just some day trips) so if you want to place an order, or have any questions about any products or techniques, I should be able to answer back quickly.

We hope to have our grandkids here for a couple of visits. They are both busy with soccer so we will have to work around that! My almost 15 year old granddaughter is an amazing artist and has offered to help me paint a triptych of 3 separate canvasses with a lake water scene. That will be fun to work on together!

We have had a busy past year as June is our first anniversary in our condo. Then we did all our renovations in the fall. Just busy, busy, busy!

I hope to unpack the rest of the boxes in our back basement and finally get my craft room the way I want it, ie. nothing on the floor!!! It's a lofty goal, I know, but I have high hopes! lol!

I know I will continue to make cards and other crafts over the summer so I will still be posting to my blog but not on a regular basis.
