My July Vacation

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to remind you all that I won't be holding any classes in July as I am taking the month off. I will be planning the dates for classes starting in August in the next couple of weeks, and will post them to the top of my blog.

I don't have any plans to go far in July (just some day trips) so if you want to place an order, or have any questions about any products or techniques, I should be able to answer back quickly.

We hope to have our grandkids here for a couple of visits. They are both busy with soccer so we will have to work around that! My almost 15 year old granddaughter is an amazing artist and has offered to help me paint a triptych of 3 separate canvasses with a lake water scene. That will be fun to work on together!

We have had a busy past year as June is our first anniversary in our condo. Then we did all our renovations in the fall. Just busy, busy, busy!

I hope to unpack the rest of the boxes in our back basement and finally get my craft room the way I want it, ie. nothing on the floor!!! It's a lofty goal, I know, but I have high hopes! lol!

I know I will continue to make cards and other crafts over the summer so I will still be posting to my blog but not on a regular basis.

I like this one for its unique front and fun saying inside. I found a really old stamp for the border inside that mimics the design on the front. Looks great, don't you agree?!

Been Absent Way Too Long...

Hi! Sorry for being away for awhile! Not sure what was happening but I have been working in my craft room a little! When one year's catalogue ends and the next begins, there is a lot of work to be done.

So I have been removing discontinued products from my shelves to make room for my big order of new things that arrived today! So much fun having new ink colours, new patterned papers, and new stamp sets to play with. It's almost like Christmas right now! lol!

I want to share with you a card I made for my dear friend and her husband for their 35th wedding anniversary in May. I was lucky enough to be her maid of honour all those years ago...it was a delight! I think this is one of the prettiest cards I have ever made! Enjoy!

I will be back with the cards for next week's classes by Monday at the latest.
