Stars, stars, and more stars!!!

Everything is going well here...how about for you? I found out Saturday that I had to pick paint colours for 2 bathrooms and the room for my grandkids, and get it yesterday as the painters are here today! Thank goodness that I have years of colour choosing from sewing and decorative painting! I chose the colours on Sunday after Lewis went to a paint store and borrowed a paint fan of hundreds of colours. He took that back on Monday and got the paints. Guess what? They all look amazing on the walls! Yeah, me!

I am wondering if there is anyone interested in making the Stars kit in the Holiday supplement catalogue. There are 5 stars each of 5 sizes plus one really large star. The kit is $31.95 so including all adhesives, I could offer this class for $40 per person. Click on the link below to view the catalogue containing this kit.

Right now I have them displayed on my dining room buffet but they can be made into tree ornaments, gift boxes, whatever you want. The only issue for using them as a gift box is that they are made closed and can't be opened without destroying the box. Still fun for the gift recipient!

Also included are all the decorations for the boxes and I had lots of extra pieces leftover. These can be used on cards, put in clear ornament balls, or just around your home to make it festive!

I will send out an email soon to see if anyone is interested. I had a lot of fun putting it together!

The colours look faded but they are much brighter in real life. The sun was shining when I took the photo!

Halloween Wreath

Okay, so life is crazy here! Our bathroom renovations have started and are really moving along. Our downstairs 3 pce bath is gutted, new shower is ready to be tiled, and an electrician has moved and added new wiring...we are going from one sink to two. Tonight the 2 piece powder room on the main floor was gutted! So far nothing has been in my way but when the guys get to the Ensuite, I will have to find another place to rest!

I want to thank Carol, Marg, and JoAnn for a fun class tonight! They made the Christmas cards that I posted here. Lots of laughs!

Here is the Stampin' Up! Halloween wreath that I made. It is so cute on the front door!

Sort of hard to see the black fluff wrapped around the wreath as we have a black door! Check out the beaded spiders! They look cute here but even better in person!

Hey! I tried to get this posted yesterday but the day just got away from me! I do have my Halloween wreath finally finished. Not that it took too long, I didn't get back to doing it. I will take a photo later and post it here tomorrow.

Today I have this pretty card for you....

Hope you like this one...I do!!!

Next Christmas Card

Hi! Sorry I have been MIA for a few days...the change in weather back to warm, humid conditions has made my breathing difficult for the past few days. Things seem to be levelling out and I feel a bit better today. Thank God! I hate when I struggle to breathe...it stops me in my tracks! So glad I postponed classes until next week! I know I will be good by then!

Okay so here is the next card with its inside!

Be back tomorrow if everything goes according to my plans!

I'm Back!

It feels great to be back in a good place to be blogging again. As you can see from my previous posts, it has been awhile!

Hope you are all doing well and still crafting. I have never stopped crafting or making lots of cards. I have made lots of cards over the past 1 1/2 years for Ronald McDonald House. It is my way of volunteering at my own pace...I can even do it in my jammies! I am thinking about making treat boxes for RMH this year instead of Halloween cards. Not too many people send Halloween cards! Do you?

I am also now able to hold classes again now that we live in our street level condo. Parking is no longer an issue and I am having lots of fun crafting and meeting new women who share my love of making cards.

We will be making Christmas cards at next week's classes on Thursday, Oct 16 at 6:30 pm or Friday, October 17 at 2:00 pm. Let me know if you want to attend either class! I need to know in advance because I can only accommodate 6 people per class.

I will post the cards for the Christmas classes as soon as I have my samples finished. For today, I am sharing one of those cards we all need from time to time, a Sympathy card.
